One way to determine which database to search is to check out our Research Guides by Subject. These guides will recommend the best databases to start your research in your particular subject area.

To see a more comprehensive list of our databases by subject, click on the "Databases" link on the library homepage ( In the "All Subjects" drop-down menu, select your subject area. This will provide a list of all the databases we subscribe to in your subject area.

If you need more help, a librarian can help you choose which database to search. Visit us at the Library Services Desk, call us at 775-682-5657, or connect with us via email or chat. Here is a link to all of our contact information.
