Q. Some records in my OneSearch results list say "Check availability." What does this mean? Can I get the full text of these items?

Answer

Some content indexed in OneSearch comes from abstracting & indexing databases (such as ERIC and MLA) and are included as citations only, not full text. These entries will show up in OneSearch with a link to "Check availability." For these items, the library may have full-text access in another database. Click on "Check availability" to be taken to a screen that allows you to initiate a search on the library complete online holdings. If the library does not have the content online, you can click through to go to Interlibrary Loan to request an item the library doesn't own.
